  • I spent the morning at the local hospital, getting an MRI on my shoulder. This is due to an injury I suffered lifting a big cooler full of carrots and stuff into the truck. Farming truly takes a toll on your body. They started this imaging by injecting a dye into my shoulder socket. Now that’s creepy.
  • This afternoon, I had a visit from a couple of reps from the NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service.) This is a department within the USDA. They have all sorts of initiatives to help farmers big and small. One of the many programs they have going is to provide financial assistance to farmers who purchase a high tunnel. This will be a big benefit to us if they approve our application. Thank you American tax payers!
